Hi,
This entirely depends on which version of Vee you are using. Vee6 gives
functions within the same library top priority, wheras Vee4 gives functions
in the top level program top prioprity. I make use of this extensively,
but I always want the top level program to take priority. I can only
assume you are using Vee4, is this true?

Hello,
We encounter a problem with imported libraries (UserFunction). When we
define a function with the same name in more than one library and make a
call to it from within the (same) library it sometimes just calls the
function of one of the other libraries. It seems to be that all functions
have a global scope. We want to call from within libraries only functions
local to it.
I think this phenomenon is known. Is there a work-around for it (besides
making the names unique)?
