Question asked by VRFuser on Jul 2, 2003
I have a pretty remedial problem here. I have an HP VEE 5.0 program, one
that I did not make, that has a formula that makes a Text variable equal a
Real variable. It appears this formula should work because the data being
passed is completely numeric, but instead I get an error 464 saying "Unable
to convert type of right-hand side of '=' to type of left-hand side."
Attributes of the Real Variable; Name: Cal_Offsets, Scope: Global, Type:
Real, Num Dims: 1. Attributes of the Text Variable; Name: INIValues, Scope:
Global, Type: Text, Num Dims: 1. Data being passed: 30. Most of this program
was built before I got this project (I'm just an intern by the way ) and I
never used HP VEE before, so I don't have much of an idea what's going on in
this program.  If anybody knows of a way around this problem, some kind of
coversion action?, please help me.
