Hello again everyone!
Thank you for all the help. I was able to get the print to work properly using active X. Not familiar with it too much but trial and error and help from others I was able to accomplish the task. I and my co programmers were surprised that we could go from active X to DDE, back to active X. I was not able to get everything from active X working so I used DDE where I needed to place it.
Thanks again for all the support from all that wrote me.

Mel,
One way to close an Excel spreadsheet without getting the "save" dialog
would be to set display alerts to false then execute the Quit method. If you
look at the example Excel97a.vee that is shipped with VEE the specific VEE
syntax is listed.
Hope this helps,

Subject: vrf excel close
Hello all
I am trying to open up an excel file, send data, and then print that data.
At the end I want to close this excel sheet without saving data. I am having
trouble trying to execute the close without saving data. I have tried to
execute a command no at the end of the transaction but this is not
recognized by excel.
Any suggestions?
