Asunto: RE: vrf GPIB address with National Instrument Card.
National Instrument cards are usually at select codes 14 or 15. So in your
case the old card used address 718 but with the National card it should be
1418 or 1518.

Indeed. I use the NI TNT card, and its base address is 14 by default.
Works A-OK.

Subject: vrf GPIB address with National Instrument Card.
As an end user, I have two 8560/8590 Spectrum Analyzers controlled whit
82350A -former HPIB Interface, and using VEE and Benchlink Analyzer E4444A
software.
Another installation operating an old "user software" (QNX -UNIX family)
has ended its live; then I've tried to use it the same way: installing
Windows, Agilent VEE and Benchlink. The difference is that a National
AT-GPIB/TNT card is used instead.
As far as "Benchlink E4444 Sp.Analyzer software" is concerned, no problem:
it detects the Spectrum Analyzer address ("ib0,18"), and works ok.
When I used to configure interfaces using 82350A "hpib7,18" was the
address
I've already waste some hours trying to understand and write the goog
address in VEE, but all I can see is that the "instrument is not configured
in that system".
It's difficult to me to deeply understand all about librairies, and
drivers, and so on. Then, I'll be grateful if someone tells me what have I
to do to configure the GPIB address in VEE to use the National AT-GPIB/TNT
card?. Does someone have experience whit it?
I've tried different values with VEE Instrument Manager/Edit Interface, but
the GPIO interface address 0 is not recognised by VEE.
