vrf Excel minimised, text box request

Question asked by VRFuser on Mar 29, 2003
Ashley,

Is the text box not active because VEE is not the focused application, or is
it not active because the focus within VEE is set to something other than
the box you want? These are 2 different conditions.

Thanks,
Mike Groves

Subject: [vrf] Excel minimised, text box request

Hi,

I am using Excel to store parameters for a test rig. I am opening up an
Excel file using active X and then minimising it. The next part of the
program requests a text input (or barcode wedge input) but the text box is
not active until the mouse is clicked on the input field. How can I prevent
this so that the operator does not have to click in the text box, and just
types the requested data?

Best regards,

Ashley Derrick
