vrf Using "CHAR" format to read from an Instrument

Question asked by VRFuser on Jun 12, 2001
Hi Mel,
     Firstly I assume that you are using the code that I sent. If this is
the case then the second program that executes is executed using veerun.exe,
which means that irrespective of whether or not the file is actually saved
as a development file .vee then it will be run as a runtime file .vxe. From
what you have written, and I may be wrong, you want the second file that is
executed to be in development mode. If this is the case then change the
command

installDir()+"\veerun.exe  -maximize -disallowclose"+a
to
installDir()+"\vee.exe  -maximize -disallowclose"+a

This should work for you I hope that this answers your query.
