Yes, I've used the Symbol Model LS 4006i Keyboard Wedge on many systems and it works like a charm. After setting up the bar code scanner for "Code 39 Full ASCII Conversion" and enabling an automatic "Enter", my users are able to enter text into a VEE text dialog box. It's the same as if the operator typed in the numbers from the keyboard but did it with the bar code scanner instead.

The USB version of scanners work well also. I have a USB version of a CueCat scanner that I have been using for years. It appears as a human interactive device and acts the same as a USB keyboard and the same as the keyboard wedge version CueCat..

The USB version of scanners work well also. I have a USB version of a CueCat scanner that I have been using for years. It appears as a human interactive device and acts the same as a USB keyboard and the same as the keyboard wedge version CueCat..
The CueCat was an interesting geek toy from 2000. Do a Google search on it and read all about it.

You said that you used a barcode scanner app ,which reads qr code, pdf-417 barcode , ean barcode, etc. That sounds great.
I crave for a barocde scanner which supports to read qr code and pdf-417.Do you have any free trial for this program?
Thanks a lot
