vrf How do I use a collector inside a user object?

Question asked by scubaman on Nov 13, 2003

WIBNI there were non-required input pins for user objects or functions,
like control inputs?  Maybe in Vee 7.01?

If all the data collected is similar, try concatenating the collectors into
a global. This allows access from any user object or function anywhere in
your program.

Hello VEE users,
My VEE program is beginning to look pretty spaghetti-ish. My problem is:
I can't put all those lovely little collectors into user objects (or
functions) and continue to collect data into them........
The XEQ pin won't fire on the collector object when it's not in the same
environment as the For Loop object. Now I know some of you real seasoned
veterans out there are snickering right now but please humor me just one
more time & lead me down the rosy path.

Many thanks.
