How do you find out to seperate the bmp ? i was searching and searching ....
What is the task of img.dispose() ? and bmp.dispose() ? do you want to reduce memory?
But now all the short nice proggi is not really faster than matlab ;-(

Actually, it looks like the Bitmap class is the way to go. Member GetPixel takes care of most everything, and System.Drawing.Color takes care of the rest.
