vrf Strange error on SmtpMail.Send function (build in) Net versions

Question asked by VRFuser on Jun 6, 2006

Hi. If you want use .NET Framework 2.0, you must configure Vee. Open veerun.exe.config and vee.exe.config in Vee folder and configure suportedversion with this line:
<supportedRuntime version="v2.0.50727" /> Now open Vee and it must run fine.

And dont unistall Framework 1.1, only import assembly references .NET Framework 2.0 from folder C:WINDOWSMicrosoft.NETFrameworkv2.0.50727 and use them...

Regards!.

Hello Fernado,

Thanks for the tip. I check my .net and it is only 1.1x. So I uninstalled the 1.1 and installed 2.0 (from MS site). Now nothing works

Vee refuses to open claiming that net 1.1x must be installed.

Darn. If I have net 1.1 the Vee works but mail not. If I have net 2.0 the mail (probably) works but vee not.

I suppose I need to reinstall Vee & automation suite next...

Br, Tapio
