vrf What's new in VEE 6.2?

Question asked by mark.goldberg on Nov 5, 2003
Scott And Ron,

That was too funny. It shall now be known as the "A license that will live
in infamy". Ron, It would seem that you would only need one license for each
VEE programmer not each test station. Since each programmer can only type at
one computer at a time, I can barely do that! Maybe I should have half a
license?

Love the Dongle farm crack also!

Mark

Thanks, Dwayne.

Hi Warren,

Yes, if you buy 6.2 (whether as a new seat or as an upgrade doesn't matter)
you're guaranteed a free upgrade to VEE 7.0 when it's released.

Though VEE 6.2 has a rather short list of enhancements over 6.01, VEE 7.0 is
going to have some _very_ nice stuff, most of which was discussed/demoed at
FoTA (Asia "VEE Days" in Sept) and "VEE Days" in the USA (ongoing).

VEE 6.2 of course has the "famous" licensing, rather than the "infamous"
licensing of 6.1. The 6.2 licensing is pretty sweet.

You can review the "VEE Public Roadmap" at < www.agilent.com/find/veeroadmap
> to get an overview of what will be in 7.0.

Best Regards,
