Hi Simon,

If memory serves me correctly, 856x spectrum analyzers have 601 trace points and the 859x series have 401 points.  If you need to vary the number of points, then take a look at the E444x PSA series of spectrum analyzers or the ESA series of spectrum analyzers.

Hope this helps

Andy

Subject: [vrf] Quick non vee question

Hi all

This is aimed at Agilent guys. I have a 8596E spectrum analyzer. I am trying to set the number of bins/points, but I cant seem to find a way. Front panel or GPIB!

Is it possible?

Simon
