Normally, this is fine, since I set a time-out limit and trap the errors. Sometimes, however, a socket call will do this once, get an error, trap the error, and then the COMPUTER system (not just VEE) will be unable to use the port again (not sure if more than just the one port) until I halt the VEE app and exit the program. Any ideas what could be causing such a hang-up?
