<DIV>I am using an HP 4142B DC Source/Monitor with VEE. I have no trouble using the plug-in HP 41420A SMU, but when I try to use the HP 41423A High Voltage SMU (1000V/10mA max), I get a start-up indicator on the unit of 'H", which indicates an output switch shut-off to protect all plug-ins. After this, I can't even get VEE to "see" the 41423A when I send the "UNT?" query to the 4142B. It sees all other plug-ins. I don't need the high voltage, but I do need a second voltage source (in addition to the 41420A SMU).<DIV> </DIV><DIV>According to my manual, the HP 4142B is rated up to 200V, but according to the Agilent Test & Measurement Catalog 2000, the 41423A increases this capability to 1000V. Is there a switch or some other adjustment I must make to the HP4142B in order to use the 41423A plug-in? Any help would be greatly appreciated. </DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV>Thx,</DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV>Larry.</DIV></DIV><p><hr SIZE=1>Do you Yahoo!?
