Hi Rufus,
please, let others live with their opinion - it's only a tool, not a
religion!
We must face the reality: there is nothing really new or exciting within
.NET, but we can't blame Agilent for that. Some day, when they have bought
Microsoft, we can squeeze some really different concepts out of them ))
Personally, I would like to see VEE on top of a realtime OS - that would
alter a lot of things in one shot - and cause a lot of new pain, too.
Best regards,
Stefan

I'd like to see Agilent concentrating effort on extending core of the Vee
as a Programming Language rather than just accommodating new features of
OS.

Hi Rufus,
please, let others live with their opinion - it's only a tool, not a
religion!
We must face the reality: there is nothing really new or exciting within
.NET, but we can't blame Agilent for that. Some day, when they have bought
Microsoft, we can squeeze some really different concepts out of them
Personally, I would like to see VEE on top of a realtime OS - that would
alter a lot of things in one shot - and cause a lot of new pain, too.
Best regards,
Stefan

I really did not mean any bad disposition. Just looking at the magnitude of
code within .NET makes the whole question mute. I suppose it would have
been nice if AGILENT had given us an easy way to build our own menus, but I
guess we can always build our own set of objects. So my response was to
that end.
