vrf VEE Pro 7.0 upgrades

Hello vrf,

We were able to determine the cause of the problem where you do not see a link to order your 7.0 upgrade on < www.agilemt.com/find/softwaremanager >, and are working on the solution.

Anyone who has purchased a VEE Pro 6.2 upgrade will experience this problem. Also, anyone who has purchased a support contract may experience this problem.

We are working on correcting this problem right now and anticipate the problem will be solved by tomorrow. We will post another message to the vrf when the problem is fixed.

Please remember that those of you who did _not_ purchase a VEE Pro 6.2 upgrade or Support product but did request a free upgrade from 6.1 to 6.2 from the Agilent Web site will not receive the VEE Pro 7.0 upgrade.

Again, if you are using 7.0 and your evaluation license has expired or will expire in a day or two, please email one of us (not both!) and we will provide a 30-day extension so you can keep working.

It looks like something is broken in the upgrade process described in the posting below, even though Nic tested it before we posted on the vrf. We are investigating it at top priority right now, and will post to vrf again when we think we have it fixed.

The pattern we've seen so far is that when you go out to the < www.agilent.com/find/softwaremanager > site, you can register your VEE Pro 6.2 or VEE Support purchase without problems, but you are not able to see the link that allows you to request the 7.0 upgrade. Several vrf-ers have sent us jpgs of what they see, which has proved very helpful.

Right now we're not able to respond usefully to individuals who have sent us email, because we don't know exactly what is causing the problem. Once we find out, we'll fix it and inform the vrf. We really appreciate your patience and apologies for the problem.

If you are using 7.0 and your evaluation license has expired or will expire in a day or two, please email one of us (not both!) and we will provide a 30-day extension so you can keep working.
