Hi,
just to let you know. Agilent found the problem!!!!!!!!! I am very happy
that they could find the problem is so short time.
It was caused by a ramp function used with Integer values. The problem will
be corrected in the next VEE update 7.01. Up to then we can use 1.0 instead
of 1 to solve the problem.
Very best regards

Hello Detlef,
well the VEE-code is nearly 3 Mbyte in 20 different libraries, own dll's, a
lot of Kernel stuff and third Party dll's. But there is no AxtiveX component
in the project.
I decited to go back to VEE 6 because its safer. Tere is no reason to go to
VEE 7 if its not reliable.
Very best regards

Aufenanger,
I just now porting a big VEE project to VEE 7. I see that some red screen of
death are produced by compilation errors for bad threads (like an Until
Break with some threads terminated with and without Next). This errors
appears with only Imported this VEE library. I think that VEE 7 have another
compilator that VEE 6. I resolve this problem "re-design" this threads.
But I have another important problem with this "migration" to VEE 7. I see
that VEE 7 creates some thousand of mini-dump files that they full my hard
disk (they are at C:Documents and Settings<user>Local
ConfigurationTemp). I know that this files are created by VEE 7, but I
don't know how I can see what library or part produces it, or if there is
something I do to remove this new option of VEE 7.0 . Can somebody help me?
Best regards and thanks in advance.

Asunto: [vrf] Porting vee6 to vee7
Hello Vee- Users,
does anyone has also so much trouble in porting a big Vee-project to VEE 7?
When I run the program 10 times. Two times the VEE development area is
closed imediately. Tree times I get the new read screen of death. Here I am
not able so send a message report. The only choice is to stop the program in
the task manager. One time I will get a message "out of memory". And the
rest will work fine.
What ist going wrong. I have a program that has lots of imported libraries,
compiled dll's and kernel-calls. In this way I am not able to deliver the
final program. Do I have to go back to VEE 6?
Very best regards
