vrf NI(National Instruments) DAQ Active X Controls:

Question asked by VRFuser on Nov 29, 2001
Thanks for the help, but isn't this nidaq.h for the nidaq32.dll?
I'm trying to use the ComponentWorks ActiveX control cwdaq.ocx

If I can't get the ActiveX to work correctly, then I'll look into to using
the dll.
Chris

Chris,

Contact agilent directly.  They can direct you to a new header file to use
with VEE that corrects some of the data type problems.  I have attached a
file that I believe will work.
If you plan to use any other language besides VEE with this card then you
will need to keep both versions of the "nidaq.h" file on your machine.

Get a "TYPE MISMATCH ERROR" while using NI Active X Control. Active X
Control to read the Counter Measurement from a PCI 6602 DAQ card.
VT_BOOL Overflow Input is the problem area. How would HP VEE interpret a
BOOLEAN data type.
I have used Integer and Real for Inputs, guess what, didn't work.

!!ANY SUGGESTIONS!!
