This turned out be a serial device with an optional serial to USB lead converter supplied with it. The basic unit continuously sends out RS232  GPS/time data, which could easily be read into VEE via a com port (or the USB serial converter set up in VEE as a serial device) , and the data decoded from the received 'string'. The model I got is waterproof too and incredible value for what it does.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV><DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Kind regards,</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV><DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Ashley</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV><DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV><BLOCKQUOTE style="PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 5px; MARGIN-LEFT: 5px; BORDER-LEFT: #000000 2px solid; MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px">  <DIV style="FONT: 10pt arial">----- Original Message ----- </DIV>  <DIV   style="BACKGROUND: #e4e4e4; FONT: 10pt arial; font-color: black"><B>From:</B>   <A   href="">Ashar, Nimish (EU-SES)</A> </DIV>  <DIV style="FONT: 10pt arial"><B>To:</B> <A   href="">VRF</A> </DIV>  <DIV style="FONT: 10pt arial"><B>Sent:</B> Friday, July 16, 2004 7:20 AM</DIV>  <DIV style="FONT: 10pt arial"><B>Subject:</B> [vrf] USB GPS Receivers</DIV>  <DIV><BR></DIV>  <DIV><SPAN class=755531606-16072004><FONT face=Arial   size=2>Hello,</FONT></SPAN></DIV>  <DIV><SPAN class=755531606-16072004><FONT face=Arial   size=2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV>  <DIV><SPAN class=755531606-16072004><FONT face=Arial size=2>Has anyone out   there used a USB NMEA GPS receiver with HP Vee, if so could you recommend   which one you used and whether it would be possible to have some info on how   you read the information from the receiver.
