vrf IO instruments

Question asked by VRFuser on Jul 13, 2004
Hi,

the driver for the NI GPIB-USB-B is somewhat strange,
it requires that you are logged in as admin, at least
for connecting/disconnecting the device. See:

Subject: [vrf] IO instruments

I loaded VEE 7.0 onto my PC and was unable to use the "find Instruments"
command located under I/O.
I also loaded the latest  I/O library and was still unable to use the
command.
I use a NI USB/GPIB controller and also loaded the driver, I am still unable
to get any IO communication.
I've tried removing all the programs and reinstalling again, but the same
thing keeps happening.
Does anyone have any suggestions????
