BIG MISTAKE if you "upgrade" to Wife 1.0. It will probably not be compatible with your Operating System, need new drivers, more storage, and none of your existing Hard Ware will be good enough for it.
BE VERY CAREFUL here. Loading Wife 1.0 has ruined many a good 'machine'. Also, when you read the Wife 1.0 License Agreement, you will notice that you have absolutely no recourse at all if you are unhappy with the product.

Want to be rich?
Then submit a MATLAB-related question that is so good that we answer it on VEE TV Episode 2, and we'll hand you a $50 cash certificate. Or you could buy a winning lottery ticket, I guess.
Want to be famous?
How about giving a guest presentation at one of the VEE Days USA 2004 venues?
We've had some great guest presentations at past VEE Days, from the advantages of using VEE to acquire oceanographic data shipboard to the nuts and bolts of software that makes it easy for VEE to talk to Excel, with lots of variety in between.
We're looking for presenters with interesting stories to tell about their use of VEE, from big application tales like "Alvin" to smaller "here's a resource or product that's really neat for VEE users to hear about" pieces. Or maybe you have some killer VEE techniques you'd like to tell us about, or an interesting demo to give.
A big presentation could be expected to run 45-60 minutes, while smaller ones might be virtually any shorter length. We'll probably set aside about an hour total for guest presentations at each venue.
If you have a story you'd like to tell at VEE Days, send me an email describing it and note the estimated length and and which venue(s) would suit you best.
Here are the venues and dates again:
Sep 28 (Tue) Atlanta
Sep 30 (Thu) Orlando
Oct 07 (Thu) Santa Clara
Oct 13 (Wed) Boston
Oct 14 (Thu) Chicago
(By the way, another way to become famous is to streak across the Olympic Stadium at the Opening Ceremony on Friday. Not recommended
Best Regards,
