Subject: [vrf] Reading chopped current on an HP6654
Hi All.
Using an HP6654 power supply I was able to measure the current drawn by a
board directly from the supply.
However, the design of the board has changed and the current drawn is
"chopped" in to blocks at a frequency of 200Hz. [i.e max ON time 5ms] I have
tried various ways of obtaining the current measurement and although I am
aware that there are fairly straightforward hardware ways of overcoming this
issue, I prefer to use the software route.
Anybody had a similar experience and can shed some light on this?
Best regards
