Start buttons are automatically activated when you create a runtime. If you
want the program to wait for you to press a "Go" button, you'll need to use an
"Confirm (OK)" button. You can find this on the Flow menu.

Pretty much by definition- runtime code runs when you execute it!
If you want it to wait until you do something , use an OK button.
