I don't know about TWAIN, but when I bought an Olympus camera a while back
there web site had additional software for a nominal charge that was an
ActiveX interface to operate the camera and download pictures.  Even came
with a VB program that was rather nice.

Subject: [vrf] Talking to commercial cameras

With the increase in resolution of cameras, I'm wondering if theres an easy
standard of talking to cameras through Vee......

I believe TWAIN is a communication method, but has anyone any experience of
doing this with VEE, possibly with ActiveX.

What I want to do is basically tell the Camera to take a picture, and
retreive it ( import it ) into Vee.

Regards,
