Hi all!
Does anybody know how to give a f.e. 60 sec. long high signal on a parallel
Port pin or on a RS232 pin?
I want to drive a "Relais" or an "Optokopler".
Can somebody tell me what commands I can use.
Thanks for Your help.
I wish U a merry X-mas and a happy new Year.

Please forgive me if I suggest that putting a short header in your message
(like the one above) and labeling the message with the tag "VRf" will help
reduce possible confusion among the ~200 people who are on the VEE Reflector.
Everyone uses different mailers and assuming that the mailer identifies the
message or its sender clearly is not valid.

I presume you mean VEE ... under VEE 3.2X on Windows, you can use Direct I/O
to a serial port and do a WRITE IOCONTROL RTS (or DTR) ... then you can use a
delay to hang on for about 60 seconds.

If you are not a primary English speaker, do not try to translate this since
it is not supposed to make sense (and will likely be just as baffling to an
American under the age of 40). In any case ...
