Regarding the issues concerning displaying large numbers on the XY Trace

'Fraid not, Stan.  The label fields on the XY Trace object don't inherit the
default format ... something of a nuisance.

I agree with this ... it would be straightforward to subtract 10M from the
data at some point and then just display the deltas.  I am afraid the only
other alternative is to synthesize a pop-up panel with a XY Trace and
AlphaNumerics to give the full desired resolution.

I found the drivers you are referring to (so far I can't get it to work
either).  I am using the hp165xx.id driver.

I am trying to get the direct I/O method going but am getting errors on the
analyzer screen.  The persistent error right now is "query UNTERMINATED" and
VEE returns a time-out error.  I have tried setting the read and write
terminators in the direct I/O configuration to "
" and "".  I have found
that I need to set the write to "" in order to make the write work.  Any
suggestions on what might be wrong??  I am using the HPBasic example
programs in the HP1652B programming reference as a guide.
