When you perform the Sheets.Add the new worksheet is added as the first
worksheet (order Sheet4, Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3) then when you get the
handle to the 3rd sheet this would be "Sheet2" (3rd sheet on the screen).

Short answer: if you move the sheets.add after the set XLSheet3 everything
works as you are expecting.
Alternate Method: use Set xlSheet3 = xlBook.Worksheets("Sheet3"); a
referencing by name works as easily as index number without worrying about
worksheet positions.

I am having a problem with the attached code.  I am adding a 3rd sheet to an
excel workbook.  Then I name all 3 sheets.  For some reason the
xlSheet3.Name function is not working.  xlSheet1.Name and 2.Name are working
fine.  Also I want to place 13 into cell 1,1 of sheet 3 and it is going into
sheet 2.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
