data from hp3852a data acquisition system with hp e2050a lan gateway

The PC is placed in a BUS network with 8 LAN/HP-IB gateways on different places ( the LAN cable is about 300 meter). On 6 gateways I have a HP34970A data acquisition system and on 2 of them, there are HP3852A DAC systems. </FONT></FONT><FONT size=2><FONT face="Courier New">A lot off volt, resistence, temperature and frequencie measurements we sampled on this 8 systems. The sample time is about 20 seconds.</FONT></FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT face="Courier New"><FONT size=2></FONT></FONT><FONT size=2><FONT color=#000000>I have worked with this total configuration about 2 months and I have marked that the HP3852A systems give about two or three times a day the next error message:</FONT></FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT color=#000000><FONT size=2></FONT></FONT><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV><DIV><FONT size=2>Vee error code # 811</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=2>I/O error or timeout occurred with HP-IB interface at 7. An excessive timout period may indicate a LAN failure to E2050Axxx. Possible host faillure, physical connection loss or router faillure.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV><DIV><FONT face="Courier New"><FONT size=2></FONT></FONT><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV><DIV><FONT color=#000000><FONT size=2>This happens only by the two HP3852A systems.
