Does anyone have drivers constructed for VEE for HP barcode readers?
Or has anyone written an interface using VEE?

Actually, most modern HP barcode readers plug into the PC keyboard connector
and are transparent to the application. Not sure how they work on HP-UX.
I have some antique notes on RS-232 barcode readers that I could leverage
into VEE, but those things are pretty dead, dead, dead.

It's indistinguishable from the application's point of view from typing into
the keyboard.

To HP Folks On The VRF:
I am just about to sign up a fella from National Instruments to the VEE
Reflector. Since we subscribe to their reflector, we have no reason to
complain about them being on ours, and I have no problem with him being
there. Besides, though I might not be happy about Ron Wolfe getting on
our wavelength, we have a good relationship with NI support people and they
are usually professional and conscientious.
However, while I am sure most HP people are discreet about what they say
on the VRf, kindly keep in mind that the competition is now listening
directly.
