I had this same problem... The only way around it, that I found, was
to use the showPanel("<function name>",x,y). This works real well,
but adds a fair bit of code to the program.

display panel in HP VEE 3.2. I tried in 4.01, but could not do it. If
I am using the regular 4.01, I can display different user object display
panels on the workspace. The problem raises if I create a runtime
version of the program - it only display the main display panel. I can
use the "display on execution" property, but this is not what I want. I
want to display a sub sub user object's display panel at all times
during the program execution.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your precious time.
