VRF Constructing Panels from Sub-Panels

Hello Noli,

You can use the "ShowPanel(userfunction, width, height,x,y)" formula to force
a panel display in the position you desire.  In my application, the main
execution panel also includes the panels from at least three other user
functions.  One empty space on the main panel is reserved for "pop-up"
panels that appear during execution of various threads.  Once you get the
panel positioned where you want it, select the "lock panel position" check
box in the panel properties.

Regards,

Curtis

Subject:     Constructing Panels from Sub-Panels

Hello VEE users,
In my ATE, (the program is in VEE 5.01) there are three DIO96 cards with
288 DAQ/control lines.
It is required to read these 288 line states and to display those states
on the panel.
The most efficient way:
To create a "port" object with 8 line indicators on its panel.
To create a "card" object with 12 "ports" on its panel.
To create the "ATE" object with 3 "cards" on its panel.

But,... can we place a "port" panel on the "card" panel?
can we place a "card" panel on the "ATE" panel?
and, if the answer is positive, how do we do it?
