working with Chart Types in Excel

Question asked by VRFuser on Feb 29, 2000
Hi Paul,
I also transfer large amounts of data to Excel and make charts of
them. But I use a recorded macro, saved as an add-in and call the
recorded function from VEE. So I have a function format_chart
called from a formula object with
- chart_sheet.Activate();
- xl.run("personl.xla!format_chart",chart_sheet, data_sheet,size);
and my excel add-in function is
- Sub format_chart(chart_sheet As chart, data_sheet As
Worksheet, size As Integer).

To your problem, I think you need the following line
xl.ActiveChart.ChartType = xlLineMarkers
and there's no problem to set the diamonds.

Hope it helps
Best Regards
Christian
