vrf Data translation DT340

Question asked by VRFuser on Feb 16, 2000
I haven't used that one before, but I installed the DT302 before and had a
lovely time.

After you install the card physically, the drivers with windows, and the DT
open layers software, you have to go to multi-media in control panel and to
the DT-open layers selection to add the card there. You can give it a name
if you wish. If there are to be multiple cards in the system you must and be
consistent.

I thought the DT open layers interface with VEE was very slick outside one
issue. To Get a handle to the card, you had to drop down this Config object.
Before you save the program as a secured runtime you must drop down a fresh
one every time. Otherwise the name of that card in the multi-media config is
hardcoded and the program will not run on another PC. SO be forewarned.

Hello all,

I have just bought a Data Translation DT340 counter timer card.  We are
having fun getting it installed.  Has anyone used this card before?  Are
there any examples available?
