VRF Problem: Parse Error???

Question asked by VRFuser on May 28, 1997
I am running VEE 4.0 on a C Class HP Work Station (HP-UX Version 10 I
believe)...

The problem I'm running into is that part of the program that I'm
writing needs to set up a series of test parameters through the use
of the list box (under selection control).  All test parameters are
stored in an array or records (for instance, spec[A].freq).  To
display this information on a list, I have a user object that
combines each element of the array into a string of text.

This is what the user object looks like;

                 +---+----------+---------+
+---------+-+    |   |Get Value |SubAry   |
|Global   ! |    |   |          |Type     |
+---------+X|----|Ary|Ary       |NumDims  |    +-+--------+-+
|spec     | |    |   |          |DimSiezes|    | |Formula | |
+---------+-+    |   |          |TotSize  |----|A|A-1     |X|--+
                 +---+----------+---------+    +-+--------+-+  |
                                                               |
+--------------------------------------------------------------+
| +----+-------+  +-+-----------------------------+------+
| |    |From 0 |  | |WRITE TEXT spec[A].num+", "  |      |
+-|Thru|Thru   |--|A|WRITE TEXT spec[A].freq+", " |result|----+
  |    |Step 1 |  | |WRITE TEXT spec[A].msk       |      |    |
  +----+-------+  +-+-----------------------------+------+    |
         |                                                    |
         |      +---------------------------------------------+
         |      |  +-----+--------+-----+
         |      +--|Data |        |Array|---------------------->X
         +---------|XEQ  |n+1 Dim |     |
                   +-----+--------+-----+

Now, I have three other User Objects that do a similiar thing as this
one does, but they have no problems at all.

One more thing, I did get a BRB when I first did this program, but I
started a new program since then, and cut and pasted most of the
functions from the old, BRB'ed program to the new one.

The really weird thing is that I can delete the entire User Object
and start again, and I still get the same result:(

Any ideas, or thoughts would be greatly appretiated...
