Sir:

Bruce Wenner had an elegant way to get the last 50 records.  Once you do
that, it is easy to get the average value of a field (named, say,
"datafield") with a Formula like:

       +--------------------------+
       |         Formula          |
       +---+----------------------+
   --->| A | mean(A
  • .datafield) +-->
           +---+----------------------+
