Don't have answer for your question directly, but do have related question:

Has anyone got the ines PCMCIA HPIB working under NT4 on an Omnibook?

Have been working unsuccessfully to make this work for some time now.

     Stan,

In my OmniBook I use a modem card all the time then switch between a
network card and the iNES card.  In other words, I do not have to have
the network card and iNES card in the PC at the same time.  Because of
this I use IRQ 15 for both the iNES card and the network card.  My
     atapi is at IRQ 14.

At one time I did get my network card and iNES card working a the same
time, but the network card had very poor performance so must have had
some kind of conflict that I was unable to resolve. My modem card uses
IRQ 3 (com2) so when I tried to get the iNES card and network card
working at the same time I had to set the network card to IRQ 3.

     Hope this helps.

     Dave

OK- one last query: atapi on my system grabs 14 and 15- I believe one for the
CDROM and the other for the disk. DId you do anything speical or do you
know how to chance atapi to use another IRQ?

thanks for the feedback

Stan
