VRf- Intro and Question

Question asked by VRFuser on Jan 21, 1999
Josh,

Do you have access to the manuals that came with VEE?  One of the
manuals provides a tutorial that incorporates the 50 or so VEE example
     programs under the <vee-dir>/examples/manual directory.

The book titled 'Visual programming with HP VEE by Bob Helsel may
help.  It is normally shipped with VEE, but is also available from HP
     as part # E2110-90053.

VEE classes are held roughly three times a month at various sites
around the U.S.  Check the following website for class descriptions
and schedules.  On-site classes are also available.

Finally, help with specific VEE issues is available on a consulting
basis from the HP Solution Services Division (HP SSV).  Consulting
engagements can be delivered on an hourly, daily, or project basis.
Contact your local HP sales Field Engineer for more information.

Good morning everyone-
I'm Josh and I'm an RF Technician in Goleta, Ca. Part of my job
duties- for the last six months or so- have been to help automate our RF
systems (network analyzers, signal generators, power meters and the
like). The problem I'm encountering is that, even though I'm working
with some pretty talented individuals, I, myself, don't have much in the
way of programming experience. Does anybody know of a decent tutorial
for Vee out there which would be well suited for a not- so- experienced
programmer like myself? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance!

Josh
