Sir:

The VRF really isn't a formal way to report bugs on VEE -- we pay the
call-centers to handle the front-end job, and in return we have to give them
the top priority (meaning we answer stuff on the VRF at our discretion) --
but the answer here is simple enough:  We fixed this one in 5.0.

I thought it sounded familiar.
