vrf VRF - Excel, changing MarkerStyle in a chart

Question asked by VRFuser on Mar 1, 2000
There seem to be properties that you can set on a chart object but not
on the ActiveChart object.  I don't have an answer for this one, but I
have seen it while working inside Excel with VBA.

For example this works

     Sheet("Sheet 1").ChartObjects(1).Chart.Name="anything"

but this does not

     ActiveChart.Name = "anything"

even if you explicitly activate the chart first.  ActiveChart appears to
have a ChartObjects property, but I can't select anything from the
collection.  That is,

     ActiveChart.ChartObjects(1)

is invalid.  Does anyone else know the answer?
