vrf Callable VEE

Hello

I have a question concerning callable VEE for VEE 5.0.  I start a VEE
server using the 'vrpcCreateService' command.  My C program allows the
operator to stop a VEE program midway.  The C program calls the
'vrpcDeleteService' command, which stops the VEE program wherever it
is.  However, I would like to be able to restart the VEE program by
calling the 'vrpcCreateService' command again.  Doing so results in
VEE error 862.  The vrpcDeleteService command does not return a NULL
pointer, which it should.  The Advanced Programming Techniques book
does not say what to do if it doesn't return a NULL pointer.

Is there a way to stop a VEE program using callable VEE and how do I
start it again?  Is there any documentation for using Callable VEE
other than the HP book?  This book has very poor coverage of this
topic.

Thanks for any advice.
