FEM simulation error

I imported a simple waveguide transition as a .step file. Running an FEM simulation was successful. I attempted to import a copy of this part and join the two pieces back to back (in order to simulate "calibrating" adapters). I joined them together and upon trying to run the FEM simulation, received this:
