vrf 3561A Spectrum Analyzer Help

Question asked by VRFuser on Dec 15, 2000
Hi-

I'm trying to dump trace data from the 3561A to VEE
using the DDSA command.  The Manual says I should get
1872 ASCII chars (which I do), and the data format is:
#A LB1 LB2 BYTE1 BYTE2...BYTEn. Instead of getting #A
(35d and 65d) I get 83d ("S") and 80d ("P"). LB1 and
LB2 represents the number of bytes xmitted. LB1 and
LB2 (65d and 78d) do not correlate to the number of
bytes xmitted.

I'm reading the data using direct I/O reading it as a
BINBLOCK BYTE ARRAY 1D.

Anybody got any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in Advance,
