Any variables that you have set. This has nothing to do with VEE per se-
just your environment.

"my computer" | "properties" | "environment "  will give you a listing
          of what you have set and give you a place to set other variables.

these are variables recognized by your system shell and available
to all programs started from that shell. for instance PATH is used
by many programs to search for dll's and executables.

You can use this mechanism to set up conditions to pass to VEE
or other programs.
