vrf .BAK from .VXE - What's it good for?

Question asked by VRFuser on Nov 18, 1999
Hi fellow VRF'ers,

I've observed that when I ask VEE 5.01 to save a program as a "Secured
RunTime Version" and the .VXE file name selected already exists, it
creates a .BAK supposedly of the existing VXE file, but the BAK it makes
is less than 1K in size compared to the old VXE's size of 80K or so.

Anyone know what the heck this tiny BAK file is good for?  Just curious.
