vrf AW: record array modification

Question asked by bernhardt on Feb 28, 2000
Sorry for beating Excel into the ground.

Can someone tell me why this does not work?

xl.ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(3).ChartType = xlLine;
xl.ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(3).MarkerStyle = xlDiamond;
xl.ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(3).MarkerBackgroundColorIndex = 1
xl.ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(3).MarkerForegroundColorIndex = 1

Gives an error "Error during SET of property "MarkerStyle""

I've also tried xl.ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(3).MarkerStyle =
xlMarkerStyleCircle according to the MarkerStyle Property Example in VB.
Doesn't work.

Also tried
xl.ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(3).ChartType = xlLineMarkers
xl.ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(3).MarkerStyle = xlDiamond;

Am I forgetting some parenthesis or quotation marks or something?
