vrf - soundcard and HP VEE

Question asked by VRFuser on Feb 16, 2000
Hi

I've long had an interest in trying this.

I tried the Creative Labs website in the hope of finding a generic soundcard
Activex control - no luck.

On two occasions over the past year and a half, I've put a request for a
soundcard driver into the HP-VEE  bug/suggestion web page but have had no
response.

It's seems strange that HP/Agilent ignore a valuable hardware resource that
is available in, I would guess, at least 50% of the machines on which VEE is
used.

A couple of applications I did find in my previous searches were:
Konstantin Zeldovich's 'Winscope'
http://polly.phys.msu.su/~zeld/oscill.html

Paul Kellett produced a suite of measurement software instruments using the
soundcard:
http://www.sonicspot.com/utils.html

If I should get any response from Agilent or find an Activex, I'll post what
I find.

Regards

Gerry Murray
