vrf Serial Port

Question asked by aufenanger on Dec 19, 1999
So I would try to set "RTS" and to reset "DTR" in some kind of initial
routine and make the communication further on without handshake. This should
be no problem.
Best regards
Barbara

I don't want to use the RTS and DTR pins for handshake but as power supply
of
the device connected to COM2 (i.e. a thermometer, P505, Dostmann electronic
GmbH).
So RTS must be at "high" and DTR at "low" all the time.
