Substrate connection in BiCMOS

Question asked by Adeniyicall001 on Feb 12, 2018

Good day, Ma/Sir

I am presently designing an IC using GF 130nm BiCMOS PDK, utilizing ADS keysight 2016. However, when i need to add the substrate to the Layout and carry out layout versus schematic (LVS), I get error as it does not see the substrate terminal on the layout. I have been trying to use the SUBC and SUBC INH terminal since i have a number of terminal that requires substrate connection

Part of the instruction request that i use "SXCUT" drawing and them use "SXCUT" label. However, SXCUT label is absent from the pallete for ADS momentum. This is the instruction given in page 229 of the BiCMOS8HP Training

I would really appreciate if you can provide clearity on this matter.

Another issue I have is related to the singlewire transmission line. On the schematic, It is made of 3 terminals. Please, where is the third terminal connected to. On the layout, How is it connected?. This is particularly related to the third terminal.

I would really appreciate if you can provide clearity on this matter.

I really appreciate your assistance in regards to this.
Thanks so much.
